An intimate close up inside artist Sand One Los Angeles studio. As she locked herself in isolation to create her newest painting "La Blanco".

Sand is experiencing a harsh break up in her life. She is in the search for answers: why do women become vicious and cold hearted after repetitive heart aches?

Her conclusion: A broken heart can change a womans perspective in her life decisions, numbing her heart, allowing her to make emotionless desicisons.

Here are Sand's lonely nights, and the photos she stared at over and over again in search of inspiration.

This painting will be auctioned in South Beach Miami this June 2015. Information of the auction house location and time to be posted.
